Eugenio Guidoccio leaves, Marc Rademacher arrives

Marc Rademacher, Eugenio Guidoccio After more than twelve years with the company, Eugenio Guidoccio, management of Ware Ultrafrische 1, will enter the passive phase of his partial retirement on 1 August. Under Guidoccio's leadership, REWE Group's fruit and vegetable purchasing and procurement structures in particular have undergone significant further development in recent years. By establishing the vertical procurement and logistics companies Eurogroup/Campina Verde, REWE Group Fruchtlogistik and the joint venture Freshsolution GmbH, REWE Group has positioned itself in a future-oriented manner in the face of increasing demands from the procurement and sales markets.

Marc Rademacher will join our company on 1 August as Head of Produce Ultrafresh 1 and take over the responsibilities of Eugenio Guidoccio. In this role, he will report to Hans-Jürgen Moog, Group Management Board Member for Produce and Purchasing.
Marc Rademacher discovered his passion for the fruit trade at an early age in his parents' asparagus and soft fruit business. After completing a dual study programme in 2010 with a focus on retail management and a commercial apprenticeship at Fruchtimport van Wylick Düsseldorf with an assignment abroad in Valencia, he moved to Lidl in 2011 as Purchasing Manager O&G International, where he was appointed authorised signatory. After working abroad in Belgium and Ireland, he moved to the USA in 2015 to rebuild fruit purchasing for Lidl US as Director of Purchasing and gain experience in food purchasing. in 2019, Rademacher was appointed Managing Director International Purchasing for Fruit and Vegetables. In 2021, he took over responsibility for purchasing at Lidl Germany as Managing Director for Food, Fruit and Vegetables.

Marcus Haus succeeds Mike Podobrin

Marcus Haus, Mike Podobrin Marcus Haus, currently responsible for marketing at PENNY Germany, will move to PENNY International as Head of Strategic Marketing on 1 August. He takes over this role from Mike Podobrin, who, as reported, is moving to the managing directors of PENNY Austria. Marcus Haus joined REWE Group in 2008 as Head of Marketing Full-range before moving to PENNY Germany in the same role in 2015. At the same time, he was responsible for Group Marketing as a marketing service provider for REWE Group until 2020, where he managed the cross-SGE media and purchasing strategies. In his future role, Haus will report to Michael Britz, Managing Director of PENNY International.

Jan Flemming replaces Marcus Haus

Jan Flemming Dr Jan Flemming is taking over from Marcus Haus at PENNY Germany. The current REWE Group Media Director and Chairman of the Managing Directors of the REWE subsidiary ZooRoyal will join the management of PENNY Germany on 1 August, where he will assume responsibility for national marketing. At the same time, Jan Flemming will continue to be responsible for the REWE Group's media division. In his new role, he will report to Dr Stefan Görgens, Divisional Director and COO of PENNY Germany. Flemming joined REWE Group in 2016 and has since been responsible for various strategy and marketing functions. Since mid-2020, he has headed the REWE Group media division, which works closely with PENNY Marketing. At the beginning of 2022, he also became Chairman of the Management Board of ZooRoyal. Flemming's responsibilities there will be divided among several people from the existing team. Clemens Bauer, Head of E-Commerce at REWE, has overall responsibility for ZooRoyal.

Ulrich Schopohl in passive partial retirement

Ulrich Schopohl, entered the passive phase of partial retirement on 1 May after more than 30 years with REWE Group. In his more than 20 years of responsibility as Head of Quality Management, Ulrich Schopohl played a key role in shaping the strategic and operational direction of the division.

Philipp Naujoks and Tom Wilhelm lead project teams

Philipp Naujoks, Tom Wilhelm On 1 May, Philipp Naujoks, 37, took over responsibility for Project Team 3 within the Strategy & Consulting Retail Germany division as Head of Inhouse Consulting. Naujoks has been part of Inhouse Consulting since 2018, most recently as Senior Project Manager. During this time, he managed projects in the Sales & Merchandise department, such as the PENNY Market Hall and PENNY Regionality. Before joining REWE Group, Philipp Naujocks worked as an internal and external management consultant in various industries. Tom Wilhelm, 36, also took over responsibility for Project Team 4 as Head of Inhouse Consulting on 1 May. Tom Wilhelm has been part of Inhouse Consulting since 2020, where he was responsible for projects for various divisions. Before joining the REWE Group, Tom Wilhelm worked in various positions in the national consulting environment. Naujocks and Wilhelm report to Philipp Schachten, Head of Strategy & Consulting Retail Germany.
