Thomas van der Broeck Thomas van der Broeckwas appointed Head of Digital Construction & Processes in the Construction division on 1 October. The newly created department will bundle and strategically drive forward all topics relating to the digitalisation of the construction industry on a national level. Thomas van der Broeck reports toHarald Fischer, Director Construction. Van der Broeck has been with the company since 2019. He started as Project Manager Integration Digital Construction at REWE Deutscher Supermarkt AG & Co KGaA. He was appointed Lead Digital Construction in June 2023.

Björn Feuerstake On 1 January,Björn Feuerstake will succeed Vincent van Schagen, CFO of BILLA Czech Republic, who is leaving the company for family reasons. Together with Marek Dolezal, CEO, and COO Andreas Jüterbock, Feuerstake will form the management team of BILLA Czech Republic. He will report to Marcel Haraszti, Divisional Director BILLA & BIPA International. Björn Feuerstake began his career after studying business administration at the University of Münster. He held various management positions at Metro for over 20 years, including in the areas of controlling, price and revenue management, category management and supplier relationship management. He joined REWE Group in January 2019, initially as Head of Controlling at BIPA. In July 2020, he moved to BILLA AG as Head of Controlling. The handover will take place in close cooperation with the current CFO Vincent van Schagen after the familiarisation period from November.
