
Laura Denis
On 1 May, Laura Denis, 33, took over the role of Head of Online Category Management for the REWE eFood division (delivery and pick-up service). Laura Denis joined REWE Group in 2015 as a working student in the REWE delivery service category management department. After completing her business studies, she started as Manager Assortment & Projects in Category Management REWE Delivery Service in 2017. From October 2022, she worked there as Lead Assortment. Since July 2024, she has been responsible for the entire online category management with the topics of assortment, pricing and promotion in the Commercial division. In her new role, she will continue to report to Stefanie Holl, Chief Commercial Officer/REWE eFood (delivery & pick-up service).
Atina Laftsidou
Also on 1 May, Atina Laftsidou, 41,, took over the role of Head of Operations Infrastructure for the REWE eFood division (delivery and pick-up service). Atina Laftsidou started 2021 as a team lead in customer service at REWE Deutscher Supermarkt AG & Co. At the end of 2022, she moved to REWE Markt GmbH as a lead in the Operations division of REWE eFood, where she headed the Fleet Management and Equipment team. Since September 2024, she has been responsible for the entire Operations Infrastructure division, including the Building & Site Management, Sourcing & Vendor Management, Fleet Management and Communication & Clearing Management teams. Atina Laftsidou continues to report to Dr Daniel Jäger, Chief Operating Officer/REWE eFood (delivery & pick-up service).
Tim Geißen
Tim Geißen, 43, has taken over from Jens Euringer as Head of Automation Technology & Intralogistics (Logistics Automation Department). Tim Geißen has been with the company for around ten years and has worked in the field of automation, focusing on full-range logistics for the last five years. He was responsible for the entire range of topics relating to the implementation and connection of warehouse management systems in automated intralogistics systems and the associated processes. He also focussed on acceptance procedures and test case management. Previously, he worked in the e-commerce environment and was involved in the realisation of Scarlet ONE. In his new role, Tim Geißen reports to Andy Bertmann, Director Central Logistics Management/REWE Markt GmbH.
Sebastian Klimpel
On 1 June, Sebastian Klimpel, 36, took over responsibility for the newly created Data team in Retail Germany as Head of. Together with the specialist departments and IT, the data team is responsible for formulating and operationalising the data strategy. Sebastian Klimpel reports to the management of Customer, Insights & Analytics, Ralph Klin. Before joining REWE Group, Sebastian Klimpel worked as Manager Data & Analytics at Aldi Süd.
Bianca Wegener
On 1 June, Bianca Wegener also took over responsibility for the Market-Specific Assortments & Layouts competence centre (lead Nadine Prohl) as Head of Assortment & Space. This means that the technical responsibility for the further development and management of the continued implementation of the strategic topic of MSL will be bundled in Bianca Wegener's area with immediate effect. Together with the Analytics, REWE digital, merchandise and sales department teams, she will continue to drive forward the individualisation of the full-range assortments through the use of AI & digitalisation in the coming years. Bianca Wegener will continue to report to the Head of Full-range CM Support, Mathias Lohoff.
Kai Pataky
Johannes Greller, 35, will join Niko Karras as managing directors of Austria's brand discounter PENNY from 1 August. The position became vacant following the departure of Kai Pataky, who will be responsible for the BILLA sales department in future. Johannes Greller started his career at REWE Group in 2019 in the Inhouse Consulting division, where he played a key role as project manager in the introduction of the BILLA merchant model and as programme manager for the optimisation of the fresh food supply chain. Before joining REWE Group, he spent five years at the international consulting firm PwC Strategy, where he was responsible for the food retail sector. At REWE Group, he was responsible for the sPORT and NEO transformation projects as one of the programme leads for Business Retail International for almost two years. in 2022, he was appointed Head of Inhouse Consulting Retail International, where he was responsible for the implementation of numerous consulting projects and supported strategic processes. In March 2025, Johannes Greller was appointed to the "JÖ" managing directors.
