
Jens Riepe, Dirk Gerstmann
Dirk Gerstmann, 57, Head of Sales Organisation/Coordination at REWE, moved to Peter Maly 's Management Board division on 1 January to take charge of an extensive strategic project to increase efficiency. Dirk Gerstmann has held various positions in the Group since October 1993 and has many years of experience in the sales department. He reports to Peter Maly, REWE Group Management Board member and COO REWE. Jens Riepe, 42, National Sales Manager REWE Center/Gastro, will assume responsibility for the REWE sales organisation/coordination as divisional manager at the same time. In future, both areas will be managed by Jens Riepe. He will report to Stefan Weiß, Management Sales Department REWE. Jens Riepe began his career as a REWE store manager in the North region after completing his training in 2006. he became district manager in 2010. in 2012, he took on the role of Internal Sales Manager and in 2016 the role of REWE Sales Manager. in 2017, he moved to Supermärkte Nord Vertriebs GmbH & Co KG as Sales Department Manager. In 2023, he also took over the functional area of catering concepts.
Valerie Keduk-Müller
The combination of forecasting and demand volume management is particularly important for our Supply Chain Management (SCM). The SCM Demand Forecasting and Management (Demand F&M) division with its Visibility, Demand F&M Inbound and Demand F&M Outbound teams focuses on these topics. The SCM Demand F&M division is headed by Valerie Keduk-Müller, 45, who was appointed Head of SCM Demand Forecasting and Management (Demand F&M) on 1 January. Valerie Keduk-Müller started her professional career at Obi. This was followed by further activities at the Metro Group in the areas of SCM, sales departments and market processes. in 2015, she moved to REWE Markt GmbH in the SCM department. Here she was initially responsible for store support and later for transformation, before taking over responsibility for SCM Demand F&M in 2022.
Benedikt Schulte
Structured cooperation with suppliers on logistics and SCM topics and the continuous optimisation and management of our logistics networks are becoming increasingly relevant. The SCM Supply Side & Network division is dedicated to these topics with the Network Management, Electronic Data Interchange, Supply Side and Goods Flow Management REWE national teams. The SCM Supply Side & Network division is headed by Dr Benedikt Schulte, 41, as Head of SCM Supply Side & Network. Schulte will also be appointed as a representative for SCM topics on the Logistics/SCM Board headed by Peter Maly. Valerie Keduk-Müller and Benedikt Schulte will continue to report to Lars Siebel, Management Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
Stefan Müller
Stefan Müller, 49, Sales Department Manager REWE Region Southwest, will join PENNY International as COO PENNY Czech Republic on 1 March. He will then report to Michael Jäger, Divisional Director Retail International PENNY and Chairman of the Managing Directors PENNY International. Stefan Müller has been working for REWE Group since 1998. He began his professional career as a trainee retail specialist. After holding various positions in stores and field service, he took over the position of Sales Manager in the Southern Region in 2012. He was appointed Sales Manager in 2017. Since April 2022, he has been responsible for the sales department in the South West region in his current role. At the beginning of the year, Nadine Braun began her induction as Head of Sales Region Southwest. She will assume responsibility for this role on 1 March, reporting to Tobias Menig, Chairman of the Southwest Region Management. Nadine Braun started at Kaufland after completing her training as a non-food department manager. in 2008, she took over the position of store manager. From 2012, she was responsible for six stores as Sales Manager. in 2013, she was appointed to the managing directors of Kaufland. As Managing Director Sales Department, Nadine Braun was responsible for 50 hypermarkets. in 2020, she became Managing Director VTO DE Kaufland. This role included the review, development and creation of concepts for the German sales department. Since 2022, she has been responsible for 148 stores, a logistics centre and a regional central unit as Managing Director NRW/Hesse/Rhineland-Palatinate.
Sebastian Siebenmorgen took on his new role as Head of Organisation & Processes International Projects at the beginning of the year. Siebenmorgen started his REWE career in 2013 with a dual training programme as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant and Bachelor of Retail Management. After successfully completing his training, he remained loyal to the Organisation & Processes division and most recently worked as Head of Organisation & Processes Private Label Procurement. Also on 1 January, Daniel Udayanan, 39, took over the position of Head of Organisation & Processes Private Label Procurement and the management of the Private Label Procurement department. Daniel Udayanan has also been part of our company since 2013, when he started as a Group Trainee. Since then, he has held various positions - most recently as Head of Business Operations Goods Private Label. Daniel Udayanan and Sebastian Siebenmorgen report to the Head of Organisation & Processes, Michael Georgiev.
Eglė Malakauskienė
On 1 March, Eglė Malakauskienė will take over the position of CFO of IKI Lithuania, succeeding Eglė Juzėnaitė. Together with Nijole Kvietkauskaite and Lina Muižienė, she forms the management team of IKI Lithuania. In her new role, she reports to Nijolė Kvietkauskaitė, CEO of IKI Lithuania. Eglė Malakauskienė began her career in management consulting after studying law and later completed a Master's degree in International Business and an Executive MBA. Since joining IKI in 2011, she has held leadership positions in Legal & Compliance, M&A and led strategic projects, including the divestment of the business in Latvia, the introduction of the national deposit system and the acquisition of an e-commerce startup. In 2019, she also coordinated the legal affairs for CEE/ITA at REWE International. Since the beginning of 2025, she has been Head of Controlling at IKI Lithuania. In addition, Eglė Malakauskienė is a member of the managing directors of the organisation of the national deposit system in Lithuania and of LastMile (Quick Commerce).
Benjamin Boesch
As part of the DERTOUR Group's expansion into the UK market, Benjamin Boesch has been appointed CEO of DERTOUR UK with effect from 1 January. In this role, he will initially manage the group of eleven specialist companies together with Francis Torrilla, CEO of DERTOUR UK, before Francis Torrilla retires at the end of 2026 and Benjamin Boesch will assume sole responsibility for DERTOUR UK. Benjamin Boesch will initially lead the strategic direction of the UK group together with Francis Torrilla, taking over all central functions such as IT, Finance, Human Resources, Sustainability and Communications, as well as the businesses of Kuoni, Inghams, Santa's Lapland and Explore. He will report to Leif Larsen, CEO DERTOUR International. The experienced manager, who began his career as a consultant at Roland Berger, has held senior positions in the tourism industry for over ten years. He started his career in Travel and Tourism at Kuoni Travel in Zurich, which is now part of DER Travel and Tourism Suisse. in 2016, Boesch moved to Dubai, where he initially worked as VP Digital Transformation for the Jumeirah Group. in 2018, he moved to VFS Global, the world's largest specialist in visa outsourcing for government clients, as Head of Transformation and Chief Digital Officer. In September 2023, he joined the DERTOUR Group, where he has since been responsible for the Group's strategic agenda as SVP Group Strategy.
Thomas Winnemöller, Achim Scherle
Achim Scherle, who was responsible for the production, marketing and sales departments as a member of the Wilhelm Brandenburg managing directors, has resigned from his position as managing director with immediate effect. His duties have been taken over by Thomas Winnemöller, member of the Ware Production management and spokesman for the Wilhelm Brandenburg managing directors.
Kim-Mara Flier
On 1 January, Dr Kim-Mara Flier, 33, took over the role of Head of Corporate Audit Risk & Compliance within the Corporate Audit division. In this role, she reports to Marcel Mertens, Head of Holding Corporate Audit. Kim-Mara Flier joined our company in March 2019 as Compliance Officer and has since held various positions, including three years as Auditor Risk & Compliance.
Dominik Rabe
Dr Dominik Rabe, 44, was appointed Head of Digital Law & Legal Transformation within the Group Legal department on 1 January. He reports to Dr Sebastian Hempel, Head of Group Legal. The newly created Digital Law & Legal Transformation department bundles the subject areas of the two teams IT & Data Protection Law and Legal Operations in order to be able to meet the increasing importance of digitalisation in REWE Group and the associated challenges and increasing requirements from a legal perspective as well as in the context of the further development of the area in a uniform and efficient manner. Dominik Rabe joined the Group Legal department as Counsel in July 2016 and was appointed Senior Counsel on 1 July 2021. On 1 March 2024, he took on the role of Lead IT & Data Protection Law.
On 15 January, Björn van Odijk takes over the function of managing director of REWE International Finance B.V.. He succeeds Thomas Clemens, who will enter the passive phase of partial retirement at the end of the year and thus end his active work in the company. Odijk will report directly to Dr Klaus Wirbel, Head of Finance. Björn van Odijk has more than 20 years of international experience in corporate finance and treasury management within multinational group structures. Most recently, he was General Manager at Würth Finance International BV. Prior to that, he held senior positions as Group Treasurer at Vanderlande Industries and Treasury Manager at Würth Finance International BV. Björn van Odijk holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Fontys University and recently completed a postgraduate programme in Treasury Management and Corporate Finance at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is fluent in German, Dutch and English.
