Diana Pabst is responsible for Convenience Ultrafresh

Diana Pabst, Kevin Hemm On 1 November, Diana Pabst, 32, took over responsibility for the Convenience Ultrafresh product group in REWE Group Buying GmbH's Own Brand Freshness division as Senior Buyer. Diana Pabst joined the company on 1 October 2019 as Buyer Milk, Butter/Fats, Eggs. She had previously completed a trainee programme at Kaufland after completing her Master's degree in Business Administration. She was then employed as a Purchasing Assistant Brands International and later as a Central Buyer at Kaufland. In this context, Kevin Hemm took over responsibility for the dairy products product group as Senior Buyer. Ulrike Zabelberg will accompany Kevin Hemm until the start of her passive semi-retirement in October next year. Both will report to the Purchasing Manager, Own Brand Fresh Produce, Bartholomäus Malcherek.

HR Talent Acquisition
Alexandra Welter is responsible for Talent Attraction

Alexandra Welter, Simon Winter Alexandra Welter, 51,, was appointed Head of Talent Attraction on 1 November. Alexandra Welter joined REWE Deutscher Supermarkt AG & Co KGaA in June 2017 as HR Partner in the HR Headquarters department and was most recently responsible for Customer, Strategy & Analytics. On 1 December, Simon Winter, 37, will take up his position as Head of Talent Acquisition Markets & Administration. Winter was most recently Head of Recruiting Specialists Region South at Deutsche Bahn. He has several years of recruiting and sourcing expertise, which he gained at car hire company Sixt, among others. Both report to Christopher Ranft, Head of HR Talent Acquisition.

Travel and Tourism
Uta Martens becomes Senior Vice President

Uta Martens DER Travel and Tourism Germany is bundling the three pillars of sales department, customer service/quality management and process management into a new unit. As part of the reorganisation, Uta Martens will assume the newly created position of Senior Vice President Sales, Customer Service & Process Management from 1 March 2023. In this role, she will be responsible for central areas that are aimed at customers of DER Travel and Tourism Germany - i.e. travellers, sales departments and travel agency partners. This includes responsibility for the sales area, including travel agency sales and support for online travel agency partners, as well as the specialist areas of quality management (with complaints management and clearing), corporate process management and ancillaries.
The trained travel agent and experienced tourism manager comes from Amadeus, where she took over as managing director of Amadeus Germany GmbH in 2017 after holding various senior sales positions. In her new role, Martens will report to Mark Tantz, Chief Operating Officer of DER Travel and Tourism Central Europe.

Nils Casmir is appointed Director Sales

Nils Casmir, Kevin Keogh In the course of setting up a new unit comprising the pillars of Sales, Customer Service/Quality Management and Process Management, there are changes in the sales management of DER Travel and Tourism Germany. On 1 November, Nils Casmir took over the role of Sales Director at DER Travel and Tourism Deutschland GmbH. As Director Sales, he is responsible for the overall sales organisation of the tour operator DER Travel and Tourism Deutschland. In addition to field sales and key account management, this also includes back office sales and sales promotion. The experienced sales expert has been working for the DER Travel and Tourism Group for over 20 years and has held various management positions in sales and key account management in the company over the course of his career. As Director Sales Support DER Travel and Tourism Germany, he has been responsible for supporting key account partners and travel agencies since 2013 and heads up the internal and external sales departments. In his new role, the trained travel agent and business administration graduate will report to Uta Martens. Nils Casmir will take over many of the responsibilities of Kevin Keogh, who has successfully managed the core brands of DER Travel and Tourism Germany since 2000 and then, from 2011, all tour operator brands of DER Travel and Tourism Germany as Head of Sales and Marketing and will continue to provide the company with his expertise after more than 25 years.
