REWE Group Buying
René Plasman heads international purchasing

The joint purchasing organisation with our long-standing partner E.Leclerc at EURELEC in Brussels is being expanded to include our partner Ahold Delhaize. For this reason, René Plasman will join REWE Group on 1 April and take over the newly created International Purchasing division of REWE Group Buying as Managing Director. He reports to Hans-Jürgen Moog, Group Management Board Member for Goods and Purchasing. The functional area "International Cooperation - Coopernic", headed by Rolf Schöppner, will in future be part of the International Purchasing Business Area. The experienced purchasing expert René Plasman was most recently Managing Partner at Real GmbH. Prior to that, he spent almost six years on the Executive Board of the Dohle trading group, where he was responsible for purchasing and marketing. He gained further retail experience at Edeka, Netto, Agenor and Lidl. Plasman previously worked for the REWE Group from 2006 to 2010. At that time, he was responsible for the Food 1 division in Strategic Purchasing and was also a member of the Coopernic Steering Committee.

Retail Germany / Customer Analytics
Lisa Brekalo is responsible for PENNY strategy

Dr Lisa Brekalo Dr Lisa Brekalo, 41, was appointed Head of Strategy Retail Germany PENNY on 1 January. In this role, she continues to be responsible for the PENNY Retail Germany Strategy team within the Strategy & Consulting division. Lisa Brekalo has been part of the strategy team since 2022. Before moving to the REWE Group Central Unit, she was responsible for various strategy-related topics and projects in connection with Lekkerland SE Group Development as Senior Manager Strategy & Projects. Lisa Brekalo will continue to report to the Head of Strategy & Consulting, Philipp Schachten.

Nicole Milenkovic is Head of Customer Engagement

Nicole Milenkovic Nicole Milenkovic, 42, will take over the role of Head of Customer Engagement REWE within the Customer Loyalty REWE division on 1 March. She will report to Almut Wandres, Director Customer Loyalty REWE. As part of this reorganisation, Sophia Holtschmidt, Head of Loyalty & Owned Media PENNY, will move to the area of responsibility of Dr Jan Flemming, Head of Marketing PENNY and REWE Group Media. Peter Rack, previously Head of CRM & Owned Media PENNY, will assume responsibility for Brand Partnerships at PENNY. He will report to Werner Hesse-Quack, Head of Brand Marketing PENNY.

HR Operations
Daniel Christopher Pangritz replaces Ina Alexandra Schumacher

Daniel Christopher Pangritz On 1 February, Daniel Christopher Pangritz, 32, took over the role of Head of Digital Transformation & Portfolio Management in HR Operations. He reports to Jens Rabbe, Head of the division. Daniel Christopher Pangritz has held various management positions, most recently at HRS Group GmbH as Head of HR Business Consulting & Transformation. Pangritz is thus taking over the activities of Ina Alexandra Schumacher, who left the company on 31 October.

Stefan Camerlander heads HR Direct Services

Stefan Camerlander Stefan Camerlander, 40, also took over the role of Head of HR Direct Services in HR Operations on 1 February. He reports to Jens Rabbe, Head of HR Operations. Stefan Camerlander joined REWE-ZENTRALFINANZ eG on 1 May 2011 as a trainee in Human Resources and Organisation Management. He has successfully developed within various functions in HR Operations, so that in June 2021 he moved to the position of Product Owner in HR Technology & Solutions at the start of the transformation.

Draga Cukjati becomes Senior Finance Advisor

Draga Cukjati Draga Cukjati, 52, has taken over the position of Senior Finance Advisor for BILLA CEE & PENNY International as of 1 February. In this new role, she will utilise her extensive experience in finance to support various strategic initiatives for all countries. Draga Cukjati will report to Martin Peffek, CFO BILLA CEE & PENNY International. Draga Cukjati began her professional career in 1996 after studying Finance and Accounting at the University of Zagreb in the banking department of UniCredit Group. She spent the following 20 years in Croatia in Finance, Corporate Finance and M&A and in Slovenia in various management positions. In 2017, she was appointed Member of the Management Board for Finance and Accounting and CFO of Mercator, the largest Slovenian FMCG retailer.

Karl J. Pojer becomes new CEO of the Hotel Division

Karl J. Pojer Karl. J. Pojer has taken over responsibility for the hotel division of DER Travel and Tourism Group. The manager, who has international experience in the hotel and cruise industry, will now head one of the central growth areas of the DER Travel and Tourism Group. As the new CEO of the DER Travel and Tourism Hotel Division, Pojer will report to Dr Ingo Burmester, CEO Central Europe and member of the Executive Board of DER Travel and Tourism Group. He will also be appointed to the Extended Executive Board.
Pojer will continue in his role as CEO Travel and Tourism of DSR Hotel Holding and expand the close cooperation across the brands.
Karl J. Pojer can look back on a long career with top management positions in the international hotel and cruise industry. He has worked for renowned hotel groups such as Kempinski, Sheraton and Pestana. His many years at TUI included positions as CEO of Robinson Clubs and Divisional Director of TUI Hotels & Resorts. in 2013, Pojer took over as managing director of Hapag-LLoyd Cruises. in 2022, he was appointed CEO Travel and Tourism at DSR Hotel Holding. The multi-award-winning manager has been named "Travel Industry Manager", "Seatrade Cruise Personality Of The Year" and received the special award of the renowned industry prize "Hotelier of the Year".

Steven Junker becomes Director Specialists

Steven Junker On 1 February, Steven Junker took over the strategic management of the DERTOUR Specialists division as Director. This includes the luxury tour operator DERTOUR Deluxe, the cruise programme DERTOUR Cruises, the group travel programme DERTOUR Groups, the sports and event travel division DERTOUR Sports, DERTOUR Golf & Active, the business customer division DER Business Solutions and the entire car rental and campervan division worldwide. In his new role, Steven Junker will report to Sven Schikarsky, Chief Product Officer (CPO) DER Travel and Tourism Germany. Junker has been with DER Travel and Tourism Germany since 2020, most recently as Director of Business Excellence. From 2020 to 2022, Junker was Consultant CHRO at DER Travel and Tourism, where he drove the further development of the HR department. Prior to this, he spent six years in various positions at the strategy consultancy Roland Berger.
