
Patrick Abromeit
With effect from 1 September, Patrick Abromeit, 32, was appointed Head of Mergers & Acquisitions III within the Mergers & Acquisitions III division. He continues to report to Philipp Ost, Head of M&A/Investment Management. Patrick Abromeit has been with the company since 2020. He began his career as a Project Consultant in the Investment Management Mergers & Acquisitions III division at REWE-ZENTRALFINANZ eG in Cologne. In January 2025, he was appointed Head of Investment and Venture Management.
Also with effect from 1 September, Dr Björn Schigulski was appointed Head of Z MAP Special Projects within the Mergers & Acquisitions division. Over the coming months, he will be involved in project management for the migration of Feneberg Lebensmittel GmbH and Landbäckerei Sinz GmbH. He also reports to Philipp Ost, Head of M&A/Investment Management. Dr Björn Schigulski has been with the company since 2016. He began his career as a lawyer in the Group Legal Department at REWE-ZENTRALFINANZ eG in Cologne. In June 2020, he was appointed Head of Mergers & Acquisitions V within the Investment Management Mergers & Acquisitions V division. This position was renamed Head of Investment Management Mergers & Acquisitions V with effect from 11 January 2022. Since January 2024, Dr Björn Schigulski has been serving as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions III.
Lekkerland is reorganising its HR department. To drive this reorganisation forward, Lekkerland has created the role of Senior Vice President People, who is also a member of the management team. Dr Anika Völkel took on this role on 1 September. She reports to Hilmar Hübers, Divisional Director of Convenience and CEO of Lekkerland. Anika Völkel, who holds a PhD in Education, has more than 20 years’ experience in senior management and HR roles. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Human Resources, Legal, Compliance & Corporate Communications at bofrost. There, she was responsible for the international development and professionalisation of key HR, legal, compliance and communications structures, as well as transformation processes. Prior to that, she played a key role in shaping HR at Peek & Cloppenburg for over 19 years and was responsible, amongst other things, for HR strategy, recruitment, talent management, organisational development, change management and employer branding across several European countries.
Robert Nagele
Stefan Pany, Director of the Technical Department within the Property & Sustainability division at REWE International, has left the REWE Group in Austria at his own request. His departure marks the end of a long career in various management roles within REWE International AG. Robert Nagele, BILLA’s management board member responsible for the Real Estate division, has taken over the Technical Department on an interim basis.
