Andreas Gutt heads Corporate Services

Andreas Gutt As part of the further development of our HR organisation, the HR Corporate Services division will be set up on 1 May under the management of Andreas Gutt. The department bundles the topics of occupational safety, national fleet management and canteen operations in Cologne. Andreas Gutt has been responsible for national HR at REWE Markt GmbH since 2016. By taking over as Head of HR Corporate Services, he will bring his many years of experience and expertise to bear in a new area of responsibility.

Nico Lehm is responsible for HR at REWE Markt GmbH

Nico Lehm, Elena Pentsi Nico Lehm will also assume responsibility for the HR division of REWE Markt GmbH on 1 May as Head of HR REWE and member of the REWE management. Nico Lehm has held various HR management positions at PENNY and REWE since 2009. He has been responsible for HR at PENNY national since the end of 2019. At the same time, Elena Pentsi will take over responsibility from Nico Lehm as Head of HR PENNY and member of the PENNY management team. Elena Pentsi most recently held a senior HR position at Rituals Cosmetics, where she managed the German HR team as well as the HR teams for Austria and Switzerland. She has extensive experience in international HR work as well as in talent and organisational development. Elena Pentsi will join REWE Group on 13 April. All senior managers report to Dr Daniela Büchel, Member of the REWE Group Management Board for HR and Sustainability (CPSO).

Tim Schneider heads Inhouse Consulting

Tim Schneider was appointed Head of Inhouse Consulting on 1 March. He is responsible for Project Team 1. Tim Schneider has been part of REWE Group's Inhouse Consulting team as a consultant since January 2018, where he was responsible for various projects for different divisions. In his new role, Tim Schneider reports to Lara-Christina Sell, Head of Strategy & Consulting.

PENNY
Carolin Pan joins Retail Intelligence

On 1 April, Carolin Pan, Divisional Director PENNY Germany, will take on a new role within REWE Group. She will work in the Business Insights Retail Intelligence division as Senior Manager Retail Intelligence Projects and report to Dr Katia Passari. Her administrative tasks will be taken over by Yvonne Nix, Assistant Divisional Director PENNY Germany. The PENNY strategy team, headed by Dr Lisa Brekalo, will be responsible for the content of committee formats as well as strategic focus and management topics. In disciplinary terms, Lisa Brekalo will continue to report to Lara-Christina Sell, Head of Strategy & Consulting. The aim of this change is to more closely dovetail strategic prioritisation and operational implementation.

Sören Hartmann hands over chairmanship to Christoph Debus

Christoph Debus (right), CEO DERTOUR Group, and Laura Steden, Director Corporate Responsibility DERTOUR Group, thank Sören Hartmann for his commitment. After twelve years as Chairman of the DERTOUR Foundation e.V., Sören Hartmann has handed over his office to Christoph Debus, CEO DERTOUR Group. Hartmann founded the non-profit organisation as CEO of the DERTOUR Group at the time and took over its chairmanship. The DERTOUR Foundation has been active worldwide ever since. Together with local partners, it pursues the goal of opening up positive future prospects for young people, strengthening the role of women and campaigning for animal and nature conservation. In total, the Foundation has implemented 116 projects in 31 countries during Hartmann's time in office. "I look forward to continuing and further developing the impressive work of the past few years. The clear focus on education, women empowerment and more sustainable tourism is a strong foundation. My focus is on strengthening existing programmes, building new partnerships and further expanding the Foundation's international impact," said Christoph Debus at the handover of the baton.
