Chip magazine has recognised toom as the industry leader in the "digital service offering" in the DIY store and retail sector. The award is based on an independent study of 236 providers from 15 sectors.

This award was presented following a comprehensive evaluation of 236 providers from 15 sectors, in which the digital presence and quality of services were assessed.

toom scores highly with numerous services for customers via the app and toom.de. For example, customers can use the "Click & Reserve" service to reserve products online and collect them from their store an hour later free of charge. Delivery to the front door is also possible with "Click & Deliver". In the Cologne area, toom even offers the option of placing orders via the app and receiving them on the same day by cargo bike in cooperation with its partner "HomeRide".

From the online appliance rental service to the online booking option for a consultation appointment and a live chat with a toom expert advisor: Many digital services are designed to make DIY easier for customers.
In addition, toom supports its customers on the website with information and tips on professional waste disposal and container booking in cooperation with the waste disposal service provider Curanto.

In cooperation with Enpal, toom is launching a landing page on its website with everything worth knowing about photovoltaics and solar power. Customers can find all the relevant information about buying or renting the right photovoltaic system at a glance.

Hobby gardeners and DIY enthusiasts looking for help with their projects can get support from toom: with just a few clicks, customers can receive support throughout their entire customer journey via chatbot, live chat or even personalised ad hoc video advice from the store, depending on their concerns. With the new video advice tool, everyone receives fast and competent support. For example, toom enables its customers to bring the professionals into their homes via video link - spontaneously, without making an appointment and on a topic-specific basis.

For these and other digital services, such as the online rental equipment service and the online booking option for a consultation appointment, toom was named "Overall Winner Digital Service Offering" in the "DIY store and do-it-yourselfers" category in the Chip study.
