
Triple-digit billion sums are already flowing into retail media worldwide. Digital screens, where advertisers reach customers directly at the point of sale, are the growth market for the advertising industry. This is why we invested in this market at an early stage - both in Germany and abroad.
BILLA currently has 1,000 screens in the stores and 540 steles in the entrance areas of BILLA and BILLA PLUS for advertising messages. At the end of last year, the range was extended to include the steles and is being successively expanded. An addition that is already paying off, as the 540 steles reach 4.7 million customers per week.
In addition to many different combination options, the stele can also be booked exclusively for one week. A six-second video is enough to spread advertising messages dynamically and in a targeted manner via BILLA in Austria. For around six months now, advertising placements in BILLA and BILLA PLUS stores have also been bookable for companies that are not listed as partners of the BILLA family.

BILLA has successively expanded its offering for advertising customers in recent years: In addition to the 999 screens and 500 steles, advertising customers can place spots on jö.live radio, adverts in Austria's largest monthly magazine "Frisch gekocht" or on the online presence through the BILLA online shop.
