"Be there with passion"

Every year, thousands of young people start their careers at REWE Group with an apprenticeship or dual study programme - and the number is constantly growing. With well over 10,000 trainees, we are one of the largest training organisations in Germany.

Since 2018, the number of our trainees in Germany has steadily increased. Despite various crises, we have cracked the 10,000 mark. From 8,560 in 2018, the number has risen to 10,395 in 2023 - an increase of more than 21 per cent. This makes us one of the largest and most diverse training companies in the whole of Germany.

 

"This step marks the beginning of an exciting journey that will not only enrich you and us professionally, but also personally. Find a topic or an activity that really excites and motivates you. Because if you are passionate about what you do, you will master challenges with much more ease and enjoy your job more. Be courageous and contribute your ideas, because only a breath of fresh air and new perspectives will move REWE Group forward," says our HR Director Dr Daniela Büchel, welcoming the new trainees and dual students.

In addition to sound training, we offer our trainees promising career opportunities and various ways to combine work and family life.

This means that we are currently training a total of 10,395 young people in REWE Group nationally - more than in the previous year.
