Düsseldorf-based REWE merchant David Hegemann received the Inclusion Award for Business. He is a pioneer, but by no means the only one to stand up for employees with disabilities.
Award for Sonja Jansen
Sonja Jansen is one of the best graduates of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in North Rhine-Westphalia. Our wholesale and foreign trade management trainee scored 98 out of a possible 100 points in her final examination - a top performance that impressed our board member Daniela Büchel.
PENNY graduation ceremony
On 10 October, PENNY hosted a big graduation ceremony at Phantasialand Brühl. Around 250 graduates from training and further education were ceremoniously honoured.
New trainees
All on board: whether in the store, in administration or logistics, whether REWE, Travel and Tourism or Lekkerland. We welcomed a total of 4,666 new trainees in all areas of our company. This means that we are currently training a total of 10,395 young people in REWE Group nationally - more than in the previous year.
