
The REWE Group's 2021 online annual report entitled "WE - strong & diverse, creative & innovative, successful & transparent" impressed twice at the internationally renowned Fox Awards: the report received a gold award at both the Fox Finance Award 2022 and the Fox Finance Visuals 2022.
For REWE Group, the 2021 financial year was also characterised by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have focused not only on getting through the crisis as unscathed as possible, but also - wherever possible - on becoming even more efficient and stronger.
The REWE Group annual report, which was realised in cooperation with the Cologne-based design agency KD1, uses numerous examples to illustrate what we are doing and the perspectives we are opening up.
In line with the three sections "strong & diverse, creative & innovative, successful & transparent", the structure of the homepage also visually reflects this triad of content. The three-column structure is introduced by striking graphic animations that symbolise the statements of the respective section. This is followed by teasers for the respective articles in the individual sections. The columns are visually separated from each other by a parallax effect. This is supported by an additional colour coding system. The three-column structure makes it possible to offer considerably more information in the space compared to a classic single-column structure.
Since 2015, the Fox Finance Awards have honoured efficient corporate reporting solutions in print and digital under the umbrella of dapamedien Verlag.
In a multi-stage process, the quality of content across all channels, approaches to generating reach and the quality of dialogue are assessed.
Fox Visuals is a special assessment of the visual concept by Münster University of Applied Sciences. Only the design efficiency is assessed here. Layout, typography and imagery are assessed.
