Award for di.to. sponsor Lionel Souque
by Bettina Rees

REWE Group CEO Lionel Souque and di.to. spokespersons Martina Weinhold and Tobias Koch were honoured by Prout at Work as voices for equal opportunities for LGBTIQ employees.

Prout at Work is a German foundation with the aim of achieving equal opportunities in the world of work for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) people. This also includes the Prout Performer initiative, which annually honours individuals from various sectors who are committed to greater LGBTIQ visibility in the world of work. According to Prout at Work, they show "that a successful career in the company is possible regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression". They are honoured in different categories.

Lionel Souque, CEO of the REWE Group, was voted first place in the Prout Executive Allies category. The award recognises Souque for his commitment to equal opportunities for LGBTIQ people within the REWE Group as a senior executive. Lionel Souque, sponsor of the company's own LGBTIQ network di.to, is committed to all aspects of diversity within REWE Group.

In addition, di.to spokespersons Martina Weinhold and Tobias Koch each received a place on the list in the Prout Voices category. This category recognises people who have shown an extraordinary commitment to LGBTIQ equal opportunities in their workplace, give queer employees a voice and promote the issue within the company.
