
May is once again the month of diversity for us this year. You can look forward to a literally diverse programme.
"REWE Group is a reflection of a colourful and diverse world," said Lionel Souque, CEO of the REWE Group, in a one_interview six years ago. That was around a year after REWE Group signed the Diversity Charter. And at a time when "trust, mutual respect" and the willingness to "meet each other openly" had already been enshrined in the REWE Group Mission Statement for many years and ended with the assurance: "Our word is our bond."
Since then, we have kept our word that diversity is not a trendy topic for us, but an integral part of our corporate culture and our everyday life. Year after year, we have continuously expanded our offerings and activities - and not least our own perceptions and horizons.
This includes the fact that we have been celebrating diversity in May for years. First it was a day, then a week - now it's an entire month that we dedicate to the topic of diversity with impulse and dialogue formats - accompanied by a large number of articles here on one. This year is no exception:
From 06 May to 29 May, you can expect a colourful programme of talks, workshops and other formats to showcase diversity at REWE Group. This includes, on the one hand, the presentation of our internal networks and offers for the compatibility of private and professional life and for maintaining mental and physical health - from di.to. and f.ernetzt to LoS!, Awo lifebalance, Women's Drive or Gemeinsam.topfit - to name just a few. In addition, there are external specialist impulses, including on integration and inclusion. The new e-learning courses on diversity will be presented, and the month will conclude with the interactive diversity conference, to which all interested colleagues are invited just as they are to all other offers in the programme.
