
Following the relaunch of its corporate website, REWE Group wins twice: In addition to 1st place in NetFederation's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Benchmark, the new homepage also impressed the jury of the German Brand Award.
NetFederation, the Cologne-based agency for digital corporate communications, has been analysing the 50 largest German companies in terms of their sustainability communication and the innovative presentation of their social, ecological and economic responsibility every year since 2003. The topics "Attitude & Credibility", "Reporting & Publications" and "Facts & Figures" include a total of 58 criteria that are evaluated. REWE Group was ranked first in the CSR benchmark, not least because of the publication of its own CSR guidelines, concrete targets and key figures and political position papers on Sustainability and the environment.
The fact that the website is not only functional, emotional and intuitive after the relaunch, but also represents a successful thematic hub for all stakeholder groups, is also shown by the fact that it was honoured with the German Brand Award 2022 in the category "Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation Brand Communication - Web and Mobile". The prize was awarded to the REWE Group on 9 June in Berlin. The German Brand Award was initiated in 1952 by the German Bundestag through the German Design Council. Since then, this important brand award has been sponsored by the Federation of German Industries. Projects of particularly exemplary brand management as well as sustainable campaigns and exceptional marketing projects are honoured.
