
With the REWE or PENNY app, employees can now save money by storing their employee card in the app.
Many colleagues use the REWE and / or PENNY app to find offers, redeem coupons or collect Payback points. REWE Group employees can now also integrate their employee card - which currently offers a ten per cent discount on purchases - into the app and redeem their discount digitally at any time.
Members of their own household can also integrate the discount function into their customer account and scan it at the checkout. This makes the customer app an integral part of the shopping experience for employees and simplifies the checkout process.
The employee card can be integrated into the REWE app:
- Log in to the REWE app with your customer account. If you don't have one yet, simply create one.
- In the menu item "Customer account" (tap on the little man) under "More", first select "Employee benefits" and then "Add employee card".
- Scan the card barcode - done! You will recognise that it has worked by the REWE Group logo above the QR code.
The employee card can still be used in haptic form for the payment function.
To download the REWE app, simply scan the QR code with your smartphone.
How it works with the PENNY app
- Open the PENNY app
- Select advantage code in the navigation bar at the bottom
- tap the QR code 5 times - the scanner opens
- Scan the barcode of the employee card
- That's it! The employee card is now stored in the benefit code
Both German and English comments appear here.
It would be nice if this could also be done with Scan&Go (REWE app). You still have to scan the QR code on the employee card.
There is no "More" function in the customer account. App is in the latest version.
Yes, that's it, I was logged out of the app again. Now it works. Unfortunately, this happens to me quite often with the REWE app, and it's also annoying: you're standing in the long queue at the checkout, it's your turn and you want to show your loyalty card - and you're logged out of the app again. Once you start entering your email and password, everyone in the store is happy ;-)

Why is it only available for ios? I mean, most employees don't have an iPhone.

Hello colleagues, unfortunately the Lekkerland employee card does not work in the Rewe app, does not recognise the barcode. Can this be adjusted? Thank you in advance Best regards
