A special highlight was a training session with the Adler Mannheim ice hockey professionals. "Just like ice hockey, PENNY is all about sticking together as a team and achieving common goals," says organiser Martina Weinhold. PENNY has been a holistic supporter of German ice hockey since 2020 and uses the opportunity to realise events together with the DEL.

Networking took centre stage
PENNY junior staff Networking was at the centre of the four-day event. The joint activities brought the participants closer together. "I got to know a lot of people and made new contacts," reported Edison Salihu, logistics apprentice in the PENNY West region. "My expectations were exceeded in every respect," says Dilan Bärenfänger, deputy store manager at the PENNY store in Kiel and participant in the retail specialist programme.

All-round positive conclusion
Organiser Martina Weinhold drew an all-round positive conclusion. And she also has good news for all PENNY trainees who did not take part: "You will definitely have the chance to take part in the next programme and experience such incredible things together."
