Diversity Month: Programme and registration
A month of diversity!
by Simone Hahn

This year, May is once again all about diversity at REWE Group - from 6 to 28 May, a colourful programme of a wide variety of internal and external presentations awaits you! Here you can find out what you can look forward to and how to register.

In a global situation in which companies' commitment to diversity is being actively scrutinised or even discontinued in the USA, for example, our REWE Group Mission Statement develops a special power: it enshrines "trust, mutual respect" and the willingness to "meet each other openly" - it ends with "Our word is our bond"

And this word also applies to us. Diversity is not a trendy topic, but an integral part of how we work together and our corporate DNA. Every year, we expand our initiatives and programmes to promote diversity within the company and in the day-to-day work of all our colleagues. This includes the month of May: from a single Diversity Day to a Diversity Week and now an entire month dedicated to the topic of diversity - with a wide variety of impulse and dialogue formats.

This year is no exception: under the motto "Together. Strong. For diversity.", you can look forward to a variety of keynote speeches on equal opportunities and diversity. Daniela Büchel, Member of the Management Board responsible for HR and Sustainability, and Franziska Halstrick, Head of CoE HR Development, will give a joint keynote speech to set the mood for the Diversity Weeks by explaining why we as a company are clearly committed to diversity right now and what each individual at REWE Group can contribute to this.

Diversity Month
Diversity has many dimensions
Equal opportunities for all and a non-discriminatory workplace, regardless of origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or disability: this is our goal, which we work towards every day. In doing so, we focus on five dimensions of diversity.

Vielfalt steht in manchen Ländern nicht mehr hoch im Kurs. Umso wichtiger, dass die REWE da weiterhin am Ball bleibt und dieses Thema hoch hält.
