REWE Group again in first place in the CSR benchmark

The Cologne-based digital communications consultancy NetFederation has compared the sustainability communication on the websites of 50 major German companies. As in the previous year, REWE Group took the top position in the ranking.

 

As part of the study on the status of digital corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication, NetFederation has been analysing the 50 largest German companies every year since 2003 with regard to their sustainability communication and the innovative presentation of their social, ecological and economic responsibility. The assessment is based on 101 criteria in the categories "Attitude & Credibility", "Reporting & Documentation" and "Facts & Figures".

REWE Group scored 818 out of a possible 1,000 points and thus defended its first place in the ranking. REWE Group's political positioning was particularly emphasised as an example of good practice in the "Attitude and Credibility" category.
