Closing in the Wolkenburg

Around 100 participants attended the presentation of certificates to this year's graduates of the REWE Academy senior managers.

 

In November, the final event of the REWE Academy for senior managers took place at the Wolkenburg in Cologne, focussing on the Field Service Academy and Level Management. Among the approximately 100 guests were REWE Group Management Board members Daniela Büchel and Peter Maly as well as REWE Managing Director HR Andreas Gutt.

The REWE Academy Senior Managers is a qualification programme that prepares participants for various management positions in stores, logistics and administration. During the event, the participants of this 1.5-year academy presented various projects that they had developed independently during their training.

While Peter Maly addressed the current challenges and the importance of clear leadership, Daniela Büchel focussed on the topic of Sustainability.

Last but not least, the 16 teams called "guilds" presented their results from the project groups on various topics, such as "sustainable temperature control" or "digital options for a market visit". This was followed by the ceremonial awarding of certificates before the participants came together again for dinner and a party.
