PENNY
Running for a good cause

PENNY is supporting this year's "Wings for Life World Run" and is giving away 100 vouchers worth 20 euros each for virtual participation among all employees.

Under the motto "We run for those who can't", participants in the Wings for Life Run run for a good cause - because all of the entry fees for the sporting event go towards spinal cord research with the aim of curing paraplegia.

Flagship runs will take place in Munich and several other European cities on 8 May. Alternatively, it is possible to take part in the App Run digitally from anywhere in the world.

The PENNY South region is providing runners with a total of around 30,000 litres of water, 8,000 apples and 8,000 bananas to keep them going during the Flagship Run in Munich.

And this is how virtual participation works:

The starting shot will be fired at 1 pm on 8 May, but there will be no finish line.

You run against the (virtual) catcher car, which sets off 30 minutes after the start and gradually catches up with all participants (virtually). The run is over for all those caught up.
