Travelix Last Minute
DERTOUR launches brand for last-minute holidays

With a dedicated last-minute brand, DERTOUR Deutschland is expanding its brand portfolio to include the short-term holiday segment.

"With Travelix Last Minute, we are offering an attractive package for spontaneous and price-conscious travellers who are flexible. We are thus closing a gap in our portfolio - for an even greater variety of holidays under our DERTOUR umbrella," explains Mark Tantz, COO DERTOUR Germany.

The offer of the well-known and realigned Travelix brand only includes holidays that can be booked from 50 days before departure. "The pure focus on the last-minute segment is a truly unique selling point," says Sabine Prähauser, Director Last Minute. With the launch at the end of February, the focus is on short-term package holidays in the Mediterranean region, for example to Egypt, Spain, Greece and Turkey, as well as selected long-haul destinations such as the Dominican Republic. "We are gradually expanding our product range. By the summer, we will have a broad portfolio of destinations and offers that also includes city breaks and self-drive destinations and offers spontaneous holidaymakers reliable quality and the security they are used to," says Prähauser.

Attractive for the sales department: "With Travelix Last Minute, our travel agency partners will receive an attractive offer with which they can fulfil the needs of another interesting customer group in a targeted manner," says Nils Casmir, Director Sales DERTOUR Germany.

Behind Travelix Last Minute is a team of 18 experts led by Sabine Prähauser. "Close, trusting and supportive cooperation with our hotel and airline partners is particularly important to us. It is an important basis for our success," says Prähauser.
