How the first "REWE voll pflanzlich" runs
The first interim results of our "REWE voll pflanzlich" store in Berlin are impressive: An average of 5,500 customers do their weekly vegan shopping there, and there are already some real favourites: The absolute favourites are baked goods, freshly made creams and sandwiches.

Cheese alternative "Frischhain"
Cheese without milk? It's possible! Formo's animal-free cheese alternative is now available at REWE. It does not require milk and uses koji protein, which the start-up obtains through microfermentation. The "Frischhain" products will initially be available in three varieties in the chiller cabinets.
