V-Label Award
Vote for PENNY & REWE now!
by Frauke Weber

REWE and PENNY are on the shortlist for this year's V-Label Award with a total of seven products and three own brands. The awards are presented by ProVeg e.V., a nutritional organisation that campaigns for a change in global nutrition. With the awards, ProVeg aims to ensure greater recognition and visibility for plant-based alternative products. Manufacturers also receive feedback via the jury and public voting, which can be directly incorporated into product improvements.

Submitted products must convince both a jury and the public voting. First, four ProVeg experts evaluate the products according to the criteria of health, marketing, market potential and Sustainability. The eight products with the highest score in each category are shortlisted. These products then qualify for a tasting by the jury and the public vote. The public vote counts just as much as the votes of the experts.

And now it's up to all of us: Our votes for REWE and PENNY count - so please be sure to take part in the voting!

It's a shame that the hurdles for voting are so high here. If I first have to struggle through a test where I have to select the ones with traffic lights, bridges or colourful striped ants from blurred thumbnails, I'm out.
