The trade magazine "Lebensmittelpraxis" has honoured the service counter in the Nezlow family's REWE store in Waging with the "Meat Star 2025" award. REWE even won twice in the competition for the best young talent in the industry.

Frozen food star for REWE Tönnies
The best German frozen food departments have been determined: The trade magazine Lebensmittelpraxis and the German Frozen Food Institute (dti) awarded the Frozen Food Stars 2023 at Anuga on 9 October. Among the winners: REWE Tönnies in Odenthal.

When REWE offered vegan meat and cheese alternatives for the first time last autumn, the response from customers and experts was tremendous. But how are things looking after the initial hype? one took a look around at vegans with convictions.
