Interview with Telerik Shishmanov

Telerik Shishmanov, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of REWE Group, talks about his beginnings at REWE Group, why young people should join REWE Group and what drives him in his new role in the seventh episode of "Frankly speaking".

Back in October, we interviewed Telerik Shishmanov about why it is important to continue investing heavily, the challenges involved and why diversity should not necessarily apply to shopping trolleys.

"Frankly speaking" - the talk with the Management Board

In January, our newly formed Management Board took over the management of REWE Group in what continue to be turbulent times. Ines Schurin, Head of Corporate Communications, spoke to the Management Board members about their strategy, what it takes to work together and how we can remain competitive despite all the challenges in the new video format "Offen gesagt" over a hot drink of their choice.

Despite all the crises, the Supervisory Board, Management Board and top management of REWE Group looked back on a very successful 2023 at this year's Annual General Meeting. The mood among the 140 attendees in Prague was correspondingly good at the weekend.

Jan Kunath will leave the Management Board at the end of 2025
Jan Kunath (59), Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, has decided not to extend his contract, which expires at the end of 2025. There will be an orderly transition: his responsibilities will be handed over within the REWE Group Management Board.
