Long service to the company is worth celebrating: those celebrating anniversaries were honoured and photographed in the Wolkenburg.
For the second time since Corona, employees from the Holding divisions, REWE digital, Central Retail D, DER Travel and Tourism Deutschland GmbH Cologne and Frankfurt, who celebrated a company anniversary, were honoured in Cologne's Wolkenburg. The congratulators included not only their respective superiors, but also HR managers and works councils. Lionel Souque, CEO of the REWE Group, gave the welcoming address.
129 employees who had reached 25 years or 40 years of service in the past year were honoured, as well as all those who had been with the company for more than 25 years and had left active employment in 2022 and entered the passive phase, partial retirement or retirement. Between the official ceremony and the cosy get-together, photos were taken of all the anniversary groups.

It was a very nice event and, as the picture shows, the Wolkenburg was very festively decorated. Fittingly, snow also arrived in the region on this day. I would say it was an appropriate setting after 25 years with the company. Many thanks for organising the anniversary celebration!
Are the production companies belonging to REWE, such as Brandenburg or Glockenbrot, also taken into account?
.....and when will the celebration for those who had their anniversary in 2021 and 2020 or retired after decades of service? .... have unfortunately fallen through the cracks...what a pity !!!

Dear Mrs Elter, we are sorry that you seem to have had such an experience. All employees celebrating 25 or 40 years of service at the branches in the east received gift vouchers and a letter from the management in 2022. Until the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, there was also an anniversary celebration, which unfortunately had to be cancelled in the past three years due to infection control measures.
