Be part of the biggest recreational football tournament in Europe!

Sports fans, watch out! It won't work without you: REWE Group is once again looking for recreational footballers who would like to take part in the Come Together Cup on 28 May 2023 in a women's and a men's team on the pitches of the RheinEnergie Stadium in Cologne as part of the "REWE Group" teams.

Up to 20,000 visitors are once again expected to attend the 29th Come-Together-Cup Cologne (CTC) on Whitsunday, 28 May 2023 on the RheinEnergieStadion pitches. The programme includes a recreational football tournament with 84 teams, a boulevard of diversity, a celebrity fun kick and a varied stage programme with live music.

The CTC is a charity tournament to promote understanding between homosexual and heterosexual leisure footballers. The most popular recreational football tournament in Europe supports the charitable organisations Aidshilfe Köln e.V. and anyway e.V. in Cologne with the proceeds from the tournament.

Register now for the REWE Group teams

Would you like to be part of the REWE Group football teams? Then we look forward to receiving your e-mail with the subject "REWE Group Teams at the CTC" to: UMS@rewe-group.com. The closing date for entries is Friday, 31 March 2023. If more interested parties register than there are places available, the decision will be made by drawing lots.

REWE Group has sponsored the annual tournament since 2014 and has also entered its own teams for several years. The sporting part is largely organised by the colleagues from di.to., REWE Group's LGBTIQ network.

REWE Group receives two exclusive team places: one team place each for the women's and men's competition. REWE Group employees now have the chance to register for the teams. We are looking for up to 12 players each for the women's and men's teams.

A note for interested footballers:

- In the women's tournament groups, a maximum of two active players from the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons from the regional league to the Bundesliga (women's professional league) may play per team.

- No active DFB club footballers above district league level - i.e. from DFB-Landesliga onwards - are permitted in the men's tournament groups.

To ensure a well-rounded and professional appearance of the REWE Group teams at this tournament, di.to. will provide the players with a jersey set (consisting of jersey, shorts, socks).
