REWE has opened Europe's largest computer vision-supported store on an area of over 1,200 square metres. The centrepiece: hybrid shopping with cashless payment options.
Hybrid shopping at REWE
At the new Pick&Go test store at Düsseldorf's Wehrhahn railway station, customers can choose between four ways to pay for their purchases for the first time in Europe.
On the road to success
In the coming months, three more stores will launch autonomous check-out facilities. The REWE innovation project is also being celebrated at an international level: This year's "Future of European Commerce Award" goes to REWE Pick&Go in the "Digitalisation" category.
