New Year's Eve is the most stressful night of the year for many dogs. Loud firecrackers, bright flashes of light and unfamiliar noises trigger fear - and many owners feel left alone in this exceptional situation. Cologne/Bonn Airport once again offered safety this year. In cooperation with ZooRoyal, the fear-free area was lovingly equipped so that people and animals could find peace and quiet.

Until 2022, ZooRoyal, REWE Group's pet supplies retailer, was primarily known as an online shop and as a private label and shop-in-shop format at REWE, PENNY and toom Baumarkt DIY stores. Since April 2022, the REWE Group company has opened four brick-and-mortar speciality stores in the REWE North region in the Hamburg area - with animal success! ZooRoyal is now announcing the national rollout. From 2026, the bricks-and-mortar speciality stores will gradually be rolled out across Germany - a real milestone for animal lovers. ZooRoyal will then not only be available online, but also at REWE, PENNY, toom and specialist retailers across the country.

The specialist pet retailer is launching a concept test in Norderstedt on around 1,800 square metres. The original highlight: a dog washing station with seven washing cycles including a hair dryer.

Email marketing is a discipline in itself. After all, customers need meaningful added value to open a newsletter. In a recent study, experts analysed the email marketing of 5000 companies in detail. ZooRoyal came in third place.
