Annual Report 2024
The Annual General Meeting of REWE ZENTRALFINANZ eG approved the 2024 annual financial statements on Saturday, 14 June 2025: another very good year for the cooperative REWE Group. On this occasion, the long-standing Chairman of the Supervisory Board Erich Stockhausen handed over his mandate to his successor Stefan Lenk. With the approval of the annual financial statements, we also published our online annual report for 2024 under the title "Clear Course - Strong Future".

Handelsblatt recently reported that "REWE is burdened by high debts". Now CFO Telerik Schischmanow clarifies in an interview with the same medium that REWE Group is in a solid position. We also spoke to him about REWE Group's financial situation on the occasion of the report and did a fact check.

Despite persistently difficult conditions, we were once again able to close the business year on a stable and successful note thanks to our broad international positioning in Retail and Tourism. We spoke to CFO Telerik Shishmanov about how REWE Group has positioned itself for the challenges of the coming years.
Retail International
As in previous years, the 2023 financial year was characterised by a difficult market environment for the food retail sector. Nevertheless, our business segments developed positively.
Financial year 2022
EHA Energie-Handels-Gesellschaft has published its annual report for 2022. Despite a difficult market situation, the result was maintained at the previous year's level. The surplus amounted to almost 8.9 million euros with sales growth of 30 per cent to 895.3 million euros.
REWE Group
REWE Group navigated successfully and stably through 2022. A year that was primarily characterised by the war in Ukraine and its consequences. Once again, our consistent course and our broad and solid international positioning proved their worth during the crisis.
Annual General Meeting
REWE-ZENTRALFINANZ eG (RZF) appointed its Supervisory Board for the next four years at its Annual General Meeting on Monday (27 June). The Supervisory Board also re-elected Erich Stockhausen as Chairman.
