World Vegan Day
In a recent GfK survey commissioned by REWE to mark World Vegan Day on 1 November, 57.5 per cent said they had already bought these products. And more importantly, just under 27 per cent said that they replace animal products with plant-based alternatives several times a week.
REWE store brands
REWE is ahead in the vegan segment - especially thanks to REWE store brands. Our REWE own-brand experts know who is going vegan and with what motives, how the range has developed and what prospects it has ahead of it.
Veganuary
It's a different kind of price campaign: instead of discounts in euros and cents, REWE is showing the climate benefits of vegan products for the first time - and demonstrating how easily customers can improve their personal carbon footprint.
The favourites of the big cities
Which delivery service products are ordered where? A look at the virtual shopping lists of customers in major German cities.
REWE is now also bringing vegan substitute products to the service counter. The target group includes meat eaters in particular. Alexander Rußler, Project Manager Vegan and Vegetarian Strategy, explains why.
From now on, vegan products will also be available at the service counters in around 50 selected REWE stores nationwide. With this new service, REWE is once again underpinning its strategic claim to consistently support vegan nutrition and offer consumers the corresponding product ranges.
New non-food building block concept
Customers appreciate being able to do their shopping in one store. REWE retailers and store managers, on the other hand, want to tailor their product range to the location. The Non-Food division has geared its new modular concept precisely to these needs.
Growth potential
REWE is a pioneer when it comes to vegan and vegetarian products. Project manager Alexander Rußler explains the strategy for further expanding the product range in 2022.
