REWE Group has been certified as a Top Employer in Germany for the thirteenth time in a row. We have also been awarded the "Top Employer Europe" seal for the first time.
We owe this European award to the commitment of several business units that were independently certified as Top Employers in seven European countries. In addition to REWE Group in Germany, PENNY in Italy, the Czech Republic and Romania, BILLA in Bulgaria and Slovakia and IKI in Lithuania were also recognised. This means that we fulfil the criteria for Europe-wide recognition - a strong signal of our international attractiveness as an employer.
"We are very proud to be recognised as a top employer not only in Germany, but also throughout Europe. It confirms that we offer our employees an outstanding working and development environment - across national borders," says Nicole Ewald, Lead Employer Branding REWE Group and REWE digital.
"The requirements of the Top Employers Institute increase every year. The certification shows that we are continuously developing and the results help us to work specifically on our strengths and development areas," says Anika Preiß, Employer Branding Expert REWE Group.

The close alignment of the HR strategy with the company's goals and the consistent focus on continuous improvement demonstrate the impact of transformative HR practices. We are proud to recognise REWE Group for its important contribution to a better working environment in Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania."
The Top Employers Institute is an independent organisation that assesses companies worldwide on their HR strategy, working conditions, talent acquisition, learning opportunities, well-being and diversity. The HR Best Practices questionnaire covers six overarching HR dimensions and 20 HR areas. Only companies that fulfil the high standards receive the Top Employer certificate and are allowed to communicate this.
