"We want to show that respect and diversity are not just buzzwords for us, but values we live by, both in our day-to-day work and in our society," says Jochen Vogel, Chairman of the toom Managing Directors, emphasising the importance of the campaign, which is primarily being played out via LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.

The face of the campaign is Irmela Mensah-Schramm. The 80-year-old has been removing racist and anti-Semitic stickers and spraying over right-wing extremist graffiti for around 40 years. Jochen Vogel: "Irmela Mensah-Schramm is an inspiring example. She has been travelling through our country for decades, removing symbols of hate - with simple tools but a powerful message: hate has no place."

"In the end, it's what unites us that counts: Respect, appreciation and community are more lasting and sustainable than any form of marginalisation. Because it is easier to build bridges with love than walls with hate. The toom campaign is not a political statement, but a clear commitment to our democratic values: respect, tolerance and cohesion. Personally, it is important to me that attitude does not begin with a campaign. It manifests itself in every conversation, every decision and in our daily interactions. We all have a responsibility to ensure that there is no room for marginalisation," Vogel continues.
