New vehicles in Berlin and Neuss
The REWE delivery service is focusing on electromobility: 64 new eSprinters from Mercedes-Benz are now making deliveries in Berlin and from September also in Neuss. The vehicles are the largest single order placed by REWE Lieferservice with its new partner Mercedes-Benz. REWE Lieferservice is investing almost five million euros in vehicles and the expansion of the charging infrastructure. The new electric vehicles also make an important contribution to REWE Group's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050

Seven fully electric lorries are now supplying 306 REWE supermarkets in Berlin and Brandenburg. For us, this is an important next step towards more climate-friendly logistics. The new truck fleet not only saves hundreds of tonnes of CO², it is also significantly quieter than comparable trucks with combustion engines.
